Title: Does anyone provide appraisals for insurance purposes?

Need to to get some sort of "official" appraisal for insurance purposes on a restored Ideal 55 Coca Cola. Does anyone know if anyone does this?

Take lot's of pictures, record the serial number. Search and save sold eBay listings. Contact your agent.
Agreed replacement value in a policy is a start. A few agents on the board. They may chime in.

Each insurance company will handle collectables differently when it comes to a loss..
definatly talk to your agent and get a clear understanding of how it will be handled if a loss occurs.

there are collectables insurance companies out there which specialize in antiquities and they handle on an agreed value basis as well.

collectibles insurance. com.. is one.
