Anything worth starting a Syrup Dispencers Section similar to the Soda Machines Section...

I would say not yet, as I only have a few item and they are all Coca-Cola related. To start a new section I would want some info on at least the major brands (Coke, Pepsi, 7 Up, Dr. Pepper). I can think of least 7 different manufactures of Coke dispensers, some also made them for other brands. I would guess that there are manufactures that only made dispensers for other brands. So there is a lot out there and I would like to start getting this info together to know more about all dispensers.

What I have right now is a sales letter from 1937 about the Dole dispenser. It states that at that point there where 1,000 units in use in “specially selected cities and the state of Florida”.  This was just one year in to production of that dispenser (1936-1941), so I would guess there could easily be 5,000 of these made for Coca-Cola, but I don’t know.

I all so have a spec sheet on a Multiplex from (I am guessing) the late 20’s early 30’s, I am not sure as I don’t have any think to compare it to. There is no date on it but from the picture it looks to be different form the one I have from the 30’s. Until I got this I had no idea what the model numbers where for these, but know there is a model number on the spec sheet, it says Model 20, BUT it has been crossed out and above it is stamped Model 22 so… It dose say “Standard for 33 years” but I don’t have a starting point so…

I also have service manuals for the Citation and Galaxie, which are nice but don’t go into spec and production numbers.

So hopefully I can get some info together and I would happily share it for a new section. I think Fountain dispensers are a great segment of collecting. They are small, most can be made to function, and when people see mine they always want to know more (so would I). I am still hoping that this forum will take off and bring new interest to this part of our hobby.
