Thanks Steve Title: Re: Ideal/Glasco slider coin mech Post by: johnieG on May 08, 2011, 12:46:49 pm They are pretty much interchangeable between the two machines, although the "low-rise" style is more often seen on Glasco sliders, & the taller coinmech units with the flat chrome top ( sometimes called a Frankenstein mech') in more often seen on Ideal sliders.

Title: Re: Ideal/Glasco slider coin mech Post by: loman4ec on May 08, 2011, 09:40:18 pm I don't know this as fact but I think it is like the westinghouse and cavalier bow sided coolers. Coke put out a spec and had someone make the cooler. It must have been something along those lines.
