Please refresh my memory:  After transporting a machine on it's back, how long should it sit in the upright position before plugging it in.  Few hours? A day?
Also, I have often wondered why we have to do this?  Why not just plug it right in?

Welcome to the board!

Short answer is a few hours depending. The compressor oil needs to drain. You can use the search function to find a complete discussion on this. Think it was "Moving a machine" a couple of months ago.

Thanks!  I saw the post that you are talking about after I posted this.  I did a search to find the answer first using a few different terms, but of course nothing as simple as "moving machine"! '<img'>
