I have been seeing some really nice machines on this board...thanks for posting!

I have an old machine that I am interested in making look a little nicer inside of it.

Is there a way to get the galvanized metal looking nice again without fabbing new components?

Thanks!

I have had good results with CLR(Calcium,Lime & Rust). You can find it at any Lowe's, Wal-mart or any hardware store. Just don't let it set on what you are cleaning for a long period of time because it will take off the Galvanized coating. You may even want to cut it down with water to weaken it. Put it in a spray bottle and use a wire or other stiff brush. It works really well.
