Dave,

Welcome to the site. happydrinkers  Those are two nice machines that you have there.  I also like the "EAT" neon sign as well as that Stoner candy machine that I can see an edge of.  You will find this site and its members to be most helpful and quite often a bunch of smart alecs!  biggrin Cool laugh

I have a favorite smart aleck reply I'd like to add, even though you've now added those pics of a couple of sweet machines:

Thanks again Marvin. It had to come back to Missouri.
Especially with the property of MU sticker on the back and 1950'S MU milk cartons in the display topper.

Here's a pic of my restored vendo 39. This machine sat in the Pleasant Hill, MO post office its whole life.

OK, you are killing me with jealousy now! Great juxtaposition with the 'slow school zone' sign in front of the car, I know that thing doesn't want to go 25...

The 468 sure makes good use of the oversized '55 engine bay, that thing looks great in there.  What's it run in the quarter?

Thanks Matt,
Fellow member Marvin from down in Tennessee was kind enough to sell it back to this Missouri boy.
The machine was destined to come back here, because it sat at the university of Missouri in the 1950's.
It still has the property of MU stickers on it ,along with the original 1950's MU display cartons in the display topper.
By the way, Marvin and his collection were super cool. Southern hospitality at its finest. He made me and my dad feel right at home.

As a Mizzou grad myself, gotta love the milk cartons in the topper.  I have to think those are the only ones of those still in existance.  My garage looks a lot like yours, with the exception of the cool cars and the great signs.  Do have a hot minivan in there, the wife is still a bit iffy on adding the nitrous to it though.  laugh     Awesome stuff, glad to have you on the board.

Blind1968,
I like nice original machines. The couple of machines I have  had restored, I do the tear down, and reassembly. The Vendo 39 was restored by a friend who owns "Gas from the Past" in Pleasant Hill, MO.

Bcharlton,
I like the wide body Wayne 60's better too.
Most "gas and oil guys" would disagree though, they prefer the narrow body Wayne 60's.
I also have a Wayne 70 that is all PORCELAIN. Super rare. Most gas and oil guys have never even seen one.
Flying A did just a few before deciding it wasn't real cost effective. I'll post a pic later.
