It's not old.  They are new and are being sold to restaurants as a machine by the cash register (pop/soda to go).

They look cool though...

They are all over CA and very cool. Would make a great home second refrigerator. For my taste they are a little tall but still very nice. They are designed to hold the 7oz. Coke aluminum bottles. Coke, diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite and maybe a couple more.

Made by True Manufacturing.   They have a few different retro styles in addition to the more standard ones.  Someone should probably flag this seller for claiming it is "Vintage".

Retro style is model # is GDM-15EM-LD Retro

I emailed the seller to let him know that this is not a "vintage" cooler.  He replied "ok thanks for the heads-up".

It has 4 bids on it... up to $500 with under an hour to go.  I hope whoever buys it isn't expecting an antique.

Interesting discussion about interpretations of the word vintage:

Sold for $499.  Interestingly it previously sold for $750 with feedback of "Item wasn't as described no fault of seller but compensated, thanks! Five stars".

Vintage is just a buzzword these days, it has no legal definition in terms of # of years old.  Still find the whole thing shady.  "Retro" would be a better term IMO.

Retro or not, I see a lot of these glass door coolers for sale......mostly not working.

The key to being collectible would be if they could be maintained as a cooler, rather than being used as a light up collectible display case.

Jim, are these a problem to service?
