Here is the pictures of the Canada Dry VMC 81 that you guys had asked me to post. Notice the color green is close to the Dr Pepper color.

Is it embossed or generic?

And here is a slider I picked up last week. Under the Pepsi decal in front is debossed Canada Dry and under the sticker on the door is a Dr. Pepper decal. Strange!

Thanks for sharing the pics with us!!!!
I too have NEVER seen one either.... although what are the chances that it was a Dr Pepper and then simply the decals were swapped?
Do you think they came from the factory with the Canada Dry decals, or simply the paint colour came from the factory, then someone added the decal.
Curious also, does it have a ID tag on it? If so, whats the number?
THanks again!!!!!!!!!!!
GREAT MACHINE!!!

Canada Dry did have their own machines out there but I have not run across too many.  Being in Michigan near Canada I see the Ideal 55 come up every now and then.  Love the embossing on those machines.  Here are a couple of pictures of a VMC 110 Generic that I have that was a CD machine.  I bought this from the original owner in Northern Michigan and it was CD from the start.

I also included a picture of the Canada Dry Heintz C2P that I owned in the past--probably should have kept that one.  glare Great embossing on this machine all the way around and the original glass in the top would have had an etched CD logo!

Not to hijack the thread but here is one more example of an original CD machine that a friend of mine owns.  It is a Choice Vend VU-9-72 square-top.  It is in great original condition.  Heavy beast--450 lbs.!

I was planning on using his marquis sign to get a good scan of the CD logo when I restore the VMC 110.  Rod--let me know if you need that and I am sure that I can get it for you.  The side decals on his machine are pretty good as well so I know I can get you a good clean picture of the "your favorite flavors" decal as well.

WOW... that 110 would be AWESOME to have/restore as a Canada D.
Yeah, I live in Canada, and I'm partial to the Dry look / logo....
THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE PICS!!!!!!!!
Any plans on restoring the 110 to it's original glory of a Canada Dry?
