I believe it's one or the other, the wood one you screw the changer into, making it more permanent.  The brackets allow you to lift it off if desired

You just need the brackets. The mounting holes are not a 16" apart though, so I made sure one screw went into a stud and used a molly bolt on the other.

If you have the space, I think the stand adds a ton to the cool factor of that. I don't have a changer, but a buddy does and mounted to the wall it wouldn't pop like the stand. I think someone was repro'ing them on eBay.

Ok, space and the money, I'm sure its not cheap.

If anyone wants to mount one to the wall you will need both . I got the brackets today and there to shallow to mount directly to the wall . You will need to buy the board as well .

Hmmm....Mine are bolted right to the wall. I would have thought aftermarkets were identical!
I'd just put a spacer behind the bracket then. What else would the board do?

Sorry to misinform you Vince!

I noticed the same issue with my reproduction pole mounting plates...
I add flat washers behind the horizontal brackets so the coin changer slides down on the slotted bracket better/easier.
You may have to play with the shim distance a little...

That really looks nice.  I've got my eyes out for one of those, hope to find one as nice as that.
