I am working on a claim against a shipper for damage to a   CS-64ES. It has been repainted once. Has some minor rust. Runs but does not cool. I need an approximate value or range. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to SMC! It always stinks to have to fight a shipper to get compensated for shipping related damages. I would say that a machine in it's shape (prior to damage!) would be in the area of $350. That's a good average price that these machines fetch normally.

How bad is the damage to machine? Do you have any pictures? Let us know how things turn out.

Thanks for the reply. Here are some Pics. The shipper is claiming $4000. I am doing inspection for the freight company.
Thanks again!

It has been repainted once.

Repainted or restored?
Pic of the whole machine would also help.

I just sold a restored one for $1,700. Yes a pic of the whole machine would help.

I would hardly think a nice Cavalier in average shape would even be worth $600 - $800 if it didn't cool!
