Title: Vendo 83

Hi all I'm a NEW member. Have a nicely restored Vendo 83-A, ser #8955. Original drum and mechanical coin operated with rebuilt Westinghouse compressor unit. Has the one-piece solid aluminum panel across the door, which is worn, but polished well. What is a fair market value of this machine?

Jeff Walter's 3rd edition Soda Machines price guide list it at $225 average condition and $1400 fully restored. It says that " V-83 are big and heavy. For those reasons, they aren't very popular". I like them though. Looks like all the parts are there and it's in great condition. I'd say b/t $1200-$1600. Hope this helps. :D

Thanks Gumbo. I gave $1,000 for it, so that was in the ball park.
