Anyone know roughly about how much the entire refrigeration system from a 1960's vendo square top weighs? I need to remove the entire assembly to go through and replace the wires and fan motors and would like to put something of about equal weight in the machine so it does not tip over on me. I have a cement block laying around. Would that be heavy enough to keep the machine from tipping?

You could just take the main door off, most just slide right off there hinges by lifting up!

Or keep the door closed once the compressor is removed,
