Hi,
Need some advice on how to straighten a couple of wobbly vents. Are there some tricks to it. It seems they need to be shrunk a little. Two out of 44 is not bad though.
Thanks

Very difficult area to straighten out. Yes, the metal has been stretched and a process of heating and cooling can bring that back in shape somewhat. If I wasn't up on that process and wanted it to be perfect and couldn't live without it being straight, I'd cut the bad louvers out and mig one back in but you run the risk of warping it from the heat if not cooled soon enough with damp rag. Metal work is a hobby for me and self taught during my years of doing custom metal work on streetrods I've built in the past and you have a difficult job getting this one perfect.
