Title: Price guide advice for a Cavalier CSS-64
Post by: Coke536 on October 13, 2014, 03:56:00 pm
I have a working Cavalier CSS-8-64 that I'll be selling soon, and wanted to get some advice on the fair market value.  The unrestored machine cools, the coin mech works, the shelves are all there, it dispenses change, and the the lights all work.  The outside is a little rough with the scrapes on the white paint.  The other side is better, but not perfect. I saw the price guide from August 2013, but wanted to find out if there is a revised estimate that anyone cares throw out.

The machine is located in southeast Michigan.

I did not know a current price guide existed.
What was the value of your machine in August of last year?

if it helps, bought my Cav 64 , SE Michigan, ( Macomb Township) for $325.00  Mine is in better shape on the outside. You may do better, you may do worse.
And if you decide to keep it, we can send you an application to join the Michigan Mafia ...

I'd say the price guide is still pretty accurate at $250-450, if you're looking to sell on CL, never hurts to start the price out on the higher end.  Make sure to note that it can take 12oz bottles of beer, that is always a good selling point on them.
