Not a super great deal...
the slider, missing coin mech, and possibly rack? 200
Westinghouse machine, big and bulky, no value $200?
Square top RC Machine... $150-200
Chest cooler? needs retoration $200

I'd say average asking prices?

Why are you guys always so negative?

the slider, missing coin mech, and possibly rack?   Neat looking and usable
Westinghouse machine, big and bulky, no value     Cool machine and great looking
Square top RC Machine...                                 Neat little machine for home use.
Chest cooler? needs retoration                          And when restored would ne so cool.

Am I the ONLY one who doesn't look at these as to what I can get out of them when I decide to sell them. Here's an idea....fill them full of soda and USE them.

If I had $600.00 I'd buy all 4, refinish them and USE them. And I DO have a gas pump, (2 actually) but I want to keep them as well.

I think what Signguy is saying is the cost to bring it to a nice looking machine does not make it a super deal. Say the slider for example... missing the rack and coin mech assembly. Sliders can be had for not much more than that complete. I passed a really nice Nesbitts complete working slider for $300. The RC square top machine is very hard to find parts for. I think he is being generous at $150-$200.

The machines no doubt would look nice restored, but the amount of $ VS. resale is hardly worth the investment. Even if you are planning on fixing the machines for keep, eventually you would probably look to sell.

Well, I just get a little tired of seeing machines that I think are neat and would like to have being labelled as "worthless" or "junk" , etc.

I think that Vendo 6 case vertical  is a $400.00 machine if it has all the shelves.

I like the large Self Serve. I think it would be an excellent machine for the garage. And since there is no coin mech to worry about I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to restore. And I paid $300.00 for the one I have.

But on the other side of the coin, when you have two garages full of machines you start to be more selective and you leave the bigger, bulky machines for others to buy.

I was not trying to be negative, i was merely trying to point out the individual values the machines and to say that it was not an outstanding deal at 600 but fair market value if you where seeking these very common machines.
and I agree.. I thought the upright vertical was a westinhouse, now I see it's  Vendo 6 case and I would agree 350-400 on value for that one, so I stand corrected.
I base this one what I experience in my buying and selling, I have or have had all these machines and these where some actual prices that I got for them, still can't seem to get more than 200 for a guttend slider lately, and 150 tops for a westy ice cooler.. I got a square top pepsi machine, complete and cant' get 200 for it ..

Hope someone finds value here for themselves and picks them up.
