Jim it seems that the machine I saw, ten years ago, had to be an older version like the two that you have displayed on the ends.  I won't need a picture or need to use my imagination to see this, since my machine is different.  Thanks Dave and Jim for the offers of the pictures.

I guess I have the newer more common style machine, like the pink and Maroon one in your picture.  I thought that since my machine had the deposit a penny for a book of matches coin plate on the left side that it should have a rejector, coin mech, vending mechanism, and coin catcher.  I wonder why they continued to install the deposit one penny plates on the left side if they went away from the whole mechanism design?

By the way do you collect these machines?  You do have a large amount of these.

If anyone turns up a quarter bezel that is not broken, i could use one for my National.

Turns out I do not have an extra name badge.

Larry

After nearly an hour of clearing a path to the nine pull I have in the shed I opened the front up to find that the match unit isn't inside.
It must have been in the one that I sold.

I can't remember much about it really. It was a separate stand alone unit. Can't even work out how the matches were dispensed now.
I'm thinking automatically because I don't recall a lever.

I only have one picture of the insides of that machine which I have attached. It doesn't help much but you can see the separate coin slot
on the right side of the picture.

Sorry... Not much use to you. Hopefully Jim will come up trumps.
