Well, my Popmatic has arrived. It was made in 1936 according to the tag.

It appears complete. The clockwork mech needs a clock spring, but it will work.

Coin mech works fine and all moving parts seem to move as they should.

I can't figure out what turned on the light and the heater. Someone wired them to switch on with a toggle switch. If anyone knows how they were originally switched on, please let me know.

I think once the oil is heated up it then turns on when a coin is deposited.

Is yours missing the cast top?

This model never had a cast top. That was the 24a. I have the metal lid type top for this machine.
