Hey Guys,

Check out this auction for a "refurbished" Stoner Junior on e-bay.
Item:  220040961610

How much is one of these really worth?  Can you find nice examples of these machines relatively inexpensively?

If you can find one for 500.00 bucks you better buy it. I have two stoners, a Jr and my recently aquired Theater model.  '<img'>

The one in the first link is pretty cool. I don't think I have ever seen a six pull with a gum wheel.
I think all six pulls are known as Juniors and the eight pulls are Theatre Stoners. The theatre style came with straight eight pulls and with a gum wheel. I could be wrong though.
I have heard them referred to as Stoner Theatre, Stoner 180 and Stoner Junior- I do not know exactly how to differentiate between them.

Those are good finds. The price is right so far!
The grey one is a regular Stoner 8 selection and the green one is a Stoner Jr with gum selector.  You don't see the Jr with gum selector very often, it is usually the full size that has the gum selector.
If you can get a shipper or help  '<img'> to get to shipping, these might be good buys.

Tom
I think the 8 selection is the 180, and the Theatres had lights in them across the top just under the mirror.

That's correct, the Theater also has a light on the side near the coin entry bezel.

If I could find someone to get the machine for me, I'd certainly consider getting one of them...  I've even thought about a roadtrip to pick them up.  It'd be about a 9 hour ride each way for me, though.

CoolCat... That Jr with gum selector is Sweet! Hard to find.... Make it a mini vaction with the Mrs..

Just contact the seller to see if you can arrange them to hold till
you get there if it where 9 hours from me I'd take the wife on a
little shopping spree via roadtrip......
I've been on longer road trips to auctions and came home with nothing....
esnipe it with the price you're willing. 9 hours is nothing for something
that hard to find.. but that's just me..... Hope someone here pics those up.
Good Luck guys... I'vegot them book marked and watching them.

Yes, it's the junior with gum selector that's outside of Baltimore, OH.  I think it's just outside of Lancaster.

I'd be grateful if you could help.

Thanks.

Both machines are from the same seller in Ohio - get them both if reasonably priced. Some parts may be interchangable and you could swap the best parts for yourself and resell the machine. The seller doesn't even have the word Stoner anywhere in either auction - he might get more bids if he did.

If they stay low, i'd be willing to buy one as well if we have someone in the area to do the pick up and asist in the shipping???
David... if you want them both I don't want to take away, but i'd take whatever one you don't want if the bidding works out? we should decide what to bid on and if Matt can help pick up and set up shipping that would be way cool and quite the TEAM EFFORT if we can pull that off?? '<img'>

My preference is for the Junior.  I don't need both (I just had a Vendo 63 picked up for me in Atlanta)... the wife would kill me.  If we can work it out to get them picked up, I'd be glad to go for the junior and have you go for the 180.   '<img'>

Auctions for the Stoners is over...

The 180 went for $355
The Junior went for $575

Unfortunately,  I couldn't bid as much as needed to get the machines given I'd have to spend a good bit of cash going to pick them up...  '<img'>
