Cross-border shipping seems to be rather expensive.. I got a ballpark figure of $1200 from NAVL to a ship a V63 from Mountain Home, Arkansas to me in Ontario (needless to say it would never happen).

How does the customs thing happen when crossing the border ??

I went from NY into Canada once and we got waved through. Didn't even check the passports.
On the way back they were a little more vigilant, but only because we had UK passports.

Has it changed with Terrorism??

I guess the other end of the country its a lot hotter on immigration.

And that phone booth would DEFINATELY be on my wish list.

I have not had any problems going from the US to Canada (main thing they question me about is about firewood).  Coming back in to the US is another story.  This year I didn't have any problems, but two years ago I had to drive in to "the big door" so they could search my stuff and question me.  I guess they have a lot of terrorists come in to the US that say they were camping by themselves for a week!  ':p'
