I have an ideal 55 slider that has sun drop golden cola on the front. Sun drop golden cola is a decal. It is in good condition but does not run. Could someone tell me what it is worth. Thanks!

Hi Marshal, sounds like you have a "generic" Ideal55 slider, thats not a bad thing, as you can have it any Flavor/Brand you want! first try this on the compressor you'll see a wire coming out of it with a plug on it (plugged into a wiring block that also goes to the line cord & thermostat) unplug th e compressor & plug it into an extension cord (13 amp/16 gauge- medium duty type) now plug the cord into an ac wall socket & see if the compressor runs just by itself. this will help you isolate & trouble shoot the "not running" issue, worth? Hmmm I always hate give ballpark figures, alot depends on the condition/completeness of the machine...
I'll give my option about $200-350 for a generic machine, but if you really like the slider, you'll pay what you think it's worth to you.. '<img'>

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!

Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor

"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.
