Sweatin' in Arizona... but it's a dry heat!

This changer is driving me nuts.  I've tested it at all price settings from 5 cents to 45 cents and it works perfectly with nickels and quarters.

With dimes; it treats them as being worth 35 cents each.  So at a 5 cent price setting, you put a dime in and it triggers the vend release and returns 30 cents in nickels as change.  At 35 cents it vends and makes no change. At 45 cents you need to put a dime + 2 nickels to trigger vending.   If you put two dimes in, it vends and returns 25 cents in nickels as change.

Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Is the dime switch also triggering the quarter switch?  Without digging out a manual that is what it sounds like it is doing to me. '<img'>

Doc(s) - you're right.  Took the back off and can see that dimes are tripping the 25 cent wire.  Cut the finger shorter and it now works perfect.  Thanks for the tip.

Wonder if it ever worked?  The finger part was way too long and wasn't bent out of shape...  Maybe a repair gone wrong?
