I found a local Victor 3 door cooler embossed Coke. It is complete with the compressor screens and cap catchers. It is a really nice solid cooler. What do you all think it is worth? I will be buying it for resale. Is there a big market for 3 door coolers? Has anyone seen them sell on ebay recently.

Here is a pic of the machine. It is embossed and 100% complete and cools. What is this worth? What should I offer. I am going to go see it on saturday. Its a Victor 3 door C31. I just don't want to spend too much as I will most likely be buying it to resell. I have seen several of these sell restored not not many unrestored. I wish I had the space for this but I have nowhere to put it. It would make an awesome bar!

Josh,

I would take it but you already found me my 4 door and I don't think Brian's back has recovered yet for another move!  biggrin  I am looking forward to having a few extra hours so I can clean mine up and get it in the basement.  Gotta get down to Grainger to pick up some casters first.

Looks to be in good shape.  I have not seen as many of the 3 doors for sale as the 4 doors.  Looks like that one is missing a bezel on the one bottle opener.  Make sure it has the spacers for the bottom of the inside of the cooler as I have seen a lot of them with those missing and it won't cool properly without them.  No idea on price though.  The unrestored 4 doors that I have seen in MI have been listed for $1,000 or more but they don't seem to be moving.  Those were unembossed though.

Are these the spacers. This is the inside of the cooler. There is some rust but it is just surface.

Yep, those are the spacers that should be on the bottom.  Looks like a pretty nice unit!

Well I got it! I picked it up today and brought it home. It is really nice. It has some dents on both sides but none of the embossing is screwed up. The dents will pull out easy. It is 100% rust free and gets ice cold and cycles. This one is for sale. I really need the money. I am going to put it on ebay but if a member wants to make me an offer I will close the auction if someone wants it. I didn't get it cheap but did well enough to make some money on it. Let me know if anyone wants it. I got this thing out of my dodge ram MYSELF!!! Thank god for wooden ramps. It just slid right down! censored

I started it at $299 and we will see where it goes. I would like to get $800 for it if possible but we will see what happens. I dont even have close to enough room for this. In the first post I said I would be getting it for resale. I wish I had room for it. Right now I really need the $$$. I am still unemployed and it is starting to really hurt. We really need the cash as a family.

Josh,

Nice machine.  Does that have both of the grates for the compressor area?  If so can you get me measurements and good pictures of both grates?  Mine is missing one and I might just get two new one made.

THANKS!

Good luck on the sale!

Mine only has the front. The openings are the same size though I think. Funtronics sells exact replacements that are rather affordable.

My C-14 has only a grate on the front - the side cover is a painted panel attached with a screw(s)??

my side cover has the same rubber mounting holes as the wire screen on the front. I could only think that it would have a wire cover because of that?? Mine may be an earlier model?
