Hi,

I've been posting on the coin mech board and figured I send off a note with a photo of this Cavalier 5 selection machine I picked up.

I'd like to locate a service manual so I can tune the thing up, but haven't been able to find much information on this model. It looks close to several in the photo gallery, but no match.

The serial nuimber tag shows Cavalier model number  05-255-150 and date stamps on some of the sheetmetal are 1977.

Can anybody tell me for sure what model or series this is known as?

Thanks
Bill

Hello Bill,

I'm not well versed on later model machines, but after looking in the Cavalier Section, I thought it's related to the CC5 Series... Your machine may be a later model than those displayed...
See the similarities between the Cavalier CC5-165 which is similar to yours in the selection area and the Cavalier CC6-258 has the three bottle/can chutes.
Double check the ID tag and see if the "05" could actually be a "C5"... Possible being a C5-250...

Jim,

Upon closer examination, it is in fact a C5.

I found a manual for a C5-255-150L online for 15 bucks.  It is at a site called sodamachinemanuals..........I can not post a site here but I think you can figure out the rest or the url.  I dont know what the L stands for but I am sure this manual will be the closest you will find.  They also have a machine brochure and a small flyer for a C5-255-150....your machine...I think they run 5 bucks a piece.  Have fun.
