I saw one sell on ebay for 300 but the superior junior rc on ebay sold for 600. I have a Dr pepper coke and an rc. I may sell my rc superior jr If interested pm me.

well I finally grabbed it, took a while cause it was in storage and the unit was under ice and couldn't be opened, this is my first picnic cooler

Nice piece.
I have seen them with red and orange Bakelite handles.
Probably a change in suppliers.

The bottle-cap design is timeless.

Thanks guys, psyched to have it, I think the detail is so cool for what it is, today we'd get a Styrofoam cooler from 7-11 and throw it away when we are done, just seems lame compared to how we used to live

We are nostalgic because of that.
So much "stuff" was built better and looked nicer back then.
Keep collecting these.
They look great in a bookcase.

Maybe someday I'll do a second edition of Jeff's book.
