Hey guys,

If this has been answered before, I apologize, I couldn't find anything when searching.  I just got my V39 back from the sandblaster and I had him glass bead my Coin return bezel and cup.  I am 100% positive I told him not to glass bead the front of it, but he did and now it's completely blasted.  I thought the face was stainless but after looking on funtronics website, theirs is chromed.  I have an early V39 and thought all the metal parts on the front were stainless except the handle which is aluminum.  Do I have any chance of making this thing look good now or (do I have to buy a new one which I don't really wanna do) or just paint?  Thanks in advance for any info you can give.

Can't you get it chromed again even though it has been blasted? Can't be worse than pitting!

Rechroming process includes a fill process which will smooth it out again and it'll shine like new when done.

I'll post a pic as soon as I can.  Do you guys think it was chromed to begin with?  How much do you think it would cost to just have that piece chromed?  Who would you recommend, Nashville plating?  I'm going to polish the coin bezel and the bezel for the bottle opener because they're stainless.  I already polished the coin bezel with Flitz and I'm pretty happy with the results.  Thanks again for your help and for all the responses.

Yes it was chrome from the factory, Cost depends on what you have done and how many. It varies from everything.
