Title: Missing keys
Post by: Kaleid20 on May 23, 2012, 03:14:12 pm
Guys, what do you normally do when the keys are missing? Luckily my machine is unlocked, but trying to figure out if i should get keys made for the lock there or just order a new lock with keys from Funtronics.

Does your lock have a number on it?  I recently learned that FunTronics has a list of the lock numbers for which they can cut keys.

As noted, if there is a key code check Fun-tronics.  They have the keys.  You can also check E-Bay but I think it is best to support a key sponsor of this site.

If the suppliers don't carry one that will work, you should be able to undo the hex nut  holding the lock to the door, and take the lock to to a locksmith to make you some keys

I have had no luck finding a locksmith to copy these old keys because they do not carry that keystock. So if you order just 1 key you can't make a spare.
It may be more cost effective to just order the lock and keys from Funtronics
