I have a big bag of VMC clutch head screws from various machines. I have thrown away the bad ones and kept the better. I alway replace screws with stainless phillips head screws but I know a lot of people are purists that want their machines 100% original (nothing negative about that). I just wanted to see if anyone wanted them. I don't want money i just thought maybe someone would have something they might want to trade and if not if anyone really wants them they can have them. These are nothing special just the good original clutch head screws used on many VMC machines in the 50's and 60's. I have a zip lock bag about 1/4 way full of them of a variety of different kinds but all the same head size. Let me know if anyone need them all or some of them.

I'll take them Josh - don't know what I would trade for them though.

No trade necessary. Just send me your address and I will send them to you. Its not a complete set but its a lot of screws. I always replace them with stainless. I am sure someone in 50 more years will thank me when it gets taken apart again and the screws are not rusted shut.

I am really sorry. I just keep forgetting to ship them. I have been so backed up trying to juggle family life work and play. I know this is usual for everyone but going from no kids to being the dad of a 9 year old overnight has been a real challange for me. I am really sorry. I will dig them out and send them. I am going to the post office tomorrow or thursday so I will send them then. Again I sincerely apologize. I will pay for shipping myself. Yes I did get the mech housing. Thank you for that. I am working slowly but surely on the mech project. Your mech housing will really help. I am trying to figure the best way to do the mechs. I have a few prototypes made but so fat nothing that is really usable. I did make a nice conversion housing to use a small door mech into a large door machine.

The screws are on there way. They will be there early next week. Again I apologize for the delay. My health has really gone down hill. I have had some heart problems recently and now I need to have surgery on my back. It seems like I live in a hospital or doctors office and with no health insurance and unemployed its killing me.

The person that named it the 'Terrible Two's" obviously never made it to three!

I've got a teenage 10yr old ....Where would be without them... Travelling the World probably..

Josh - Sorry to hear about your health problems.. The day you stepped out into that road has
really had a massive affect on your life.. I hope you get better soon..

We moan about the NHS (National Health Service) over here but cost is never a consideration.
Time might be a problem but not money..

All the best

Josh, hope you are feeling better soon!

I'm currently "living the dream" when it comes to the Terrible Two's  biggrin With a 2 1/2 y.o. & a soon-to-be 1 y.o. and on top of that, my 12 year old daughter seems to think that she's 25 sometimes.....go figure! It's all good though. laugh

Thanks guys I had a real scare. I actually had a minor heart attack. Mt Dad had a stress induced heart attack at 28 and I am 29. Unemployment and the job hunt is really taking a lot out of me. My blood pressure was out of control but everything is Ok now and it was minor enough that there was little to no damage done. Talk about scary though.
