They just didn't get much paint on the non visible surfaces. This is probably the way they were originally since white doesn't cover well. Maybe he was going for a 100% accurate restoration

Josh, I don't think it's been restored, and seller states original as well, I'd bet it's an original...

Your right. Sorry I didn't read it. It looked like it had been restored with the pictures of the cooling system out of it.

It does look red, but I have an original vmc 81 7up. Mine looks the same. The one I have is in as nice condition as this one nly no broken louver.

What broken louvre? I do not see one - I see the condensation pan attached to the louvres - is that what you guys think is a broken one?

OK, now that I have been able to get on and see the pictures of the machine...DAMN, that's a nice looking machine!     I would have to venture a guess of $5400 (but it won't be me!     )  Should be much more, but the economy is not helping!
