Everything was moving free on that machine. It just would not return the lever after a vend cycle. I hated to "rig" that spring on there but I couldn't find anything wrong.
Hope you get it figured out.

I've run into that in the past too, and I put a higher grade return spring on the cup assembly and that helped it out..

Well I did a combo of the suggestions - I put a new spring on the cup and loosened the nut a little.  It improvede significantly, and I would say it is at 98%.  If this were for someone else, I would strip it apart, but I am going to keep this gal for my own use.  I think as time passes and i use the machine, it will gain the last 2%.  If not, I know where to find help.  Thanks for everyone's replies - your help is MUCh appreciated.    Oh - Tom, dimes are working perfect -thanks...     Time to plug the gal in and have a soda----   thanks again !!!

Good to hear it...
It just goes to show, these old machines still need tinkering their whole life.. things will just need adjustments.. even with restored machines I've spent hours with them, adjusting one thing then the next and so on to get it just right.. it's just they way they are!

Good to hear it.. now go have a cold one.
