Glasco g-400-u2 value

I picked this machine up from an in-law 15+ years ago, but know nothing about coke machines.  Its description is listed here:

Attached is a picture.  It's mostly intact, but doesn't work.  The plastic door on the dispenser is broken.  I plugged it in years ago and the refrigeration unit appeared to work, but not the rest of it.

I'm just curious whether pre-mixed dispensers have any value compared to bottle dispenser machines and what kind of value a machine like this might have.

Funny, it came with a couple hundred vintage Coke cups inside it too.

Mike... welcome to the site... That is a good looking machine... Definately worth looking into to make it work... The book I have shows it is $350 for good shape, and $1450 restored, excellent shape...

Heck, look at this way the cups alone would make you a nice profit. Depending on the style...

I love that machine! I hope that someday I will find one like it.

I'm in Washington State now.  The machined lived out its previous life in an Arcade in Crestline California many years ago.

I've attached a picture of one of the 6 oz cups.  They look pretty common in design.  There are somewhere between 400-500 cups.

Here's a basic interior shot.  Note the unattached hoses at the bottom.  There's definitely stuff missing including the hose from the CO2 tank to wherever it attaches.

Those are the later style of coke cups.  The enjoy means there are from the late 70's on but they are still worth 25 to 50 cents a piece to a coke collector...

I can help you a little bit with your setup.  I am learning how to setup a bag in the box system.  The main difference between your setup and mine is my system uses pumps to pull the syrup out of the box.  Looks like you are missing your Pressure Regulator for your CO2 tank.  You can find one really cheep on E-Bay.  The CO2 needs to mix with water to make carbonated water.  So one of the lines from the Pressure Regulator should go to a Carbonator or if the water is ice cold just somewhere to mix with the water.  I believe (this part I could be wrong, somebody chime in if I am) one of the lines from the Pressure Regulator needs to connect to the syrup tanks to supply pressure to get the syrup out of the tank.  I have two of the tanks and they are pressurized and the Pressure Regulators I picked up with my system have connectors for the syrup tanks (These parts were extra and have no use for them.  I would offer them but I already promised my brother he could have them for his home beer brewery.).   I hope this helps you in getting your machine going.
