Looking to obtain a lock trim piece from a National Cigarette/Candy Vendor. The same trim was utilized on both candy and cigarette models. I realize this will be difficult to locate, but I hoping someone can send me a lead in the hopes of locating this part... Any and all leads will be investigated! If you cannot locate a piece, and have another one the same, I could have my chrome shop make a cast new one and then plate or nickel it. Title: Re: Reaching out to the Community... Back in the day I watched more of that style machine go to the scrap yard than I cared to see. I knew they’d be good, but we didn’t have the room to store everything. No one wanted candy and cigarette machines, just soda.
But then again, if we’d saved all of that, they wouldn’t be as valuable as they are today. I still have a stack of National mirrors that say “Candy” |
