Question on side door lock..The 55 Squirt machine I have does not have any way to bolt L bracket with nut to liner. There are no screw holes in liner for bracket. Only those for shelf. When I picked machine up, the door was wired shut with wire running from door bolt to shelf screw. Am I missing something here ? Want to install L bracket but am afraid to drill liner for screws. How was this side door locked when liner was never drilled for bracket ?

The “L “ bracket lock fastens with (2) carriage bolts to the pre cool shelf.  There are NO holes drilled in the main liner.

Guess I'll see all this when shelf and bracket arrive. Looking at pic above the brackets two bolt holes are on side...same side that goes against liner. Just dont see how it attaches to shelf. Guess I will and will look like an idiot for asking.lol

SliderBob sent pics today and now understand L bracket and how it attaches to shelf.
Had no idea there was a piece of angle on bottom left side for L bracket.

All seems to be running well. Got new stat in today and ran it a few hours. Cycling every 15 minutes. Cut in on 1st setting was 44° and cut out at 35°. #2 setting cut in about 42° and cut out at 33°. Thats with no rack installed yet.
That seem about right to you guys ?

Got the picture posting thing..lol
Got new thermostat installed inside. New drain line using 1 1/8th heater hose cut about 2" long and then smaller hose inside due to hole in floor is smaller than liner hole. After getting drain in I poured liquid rubber inside recessed area around hose inside liner. Worked perfectly.
Also painted Squirt script. Painter never showed up so did it myself.  Amazing what you can do with 1/16 wide fine line masking tape. Can make turns I never imagined possible.

I see you re-located the thermostat, it looks nice there.  Did you also re-locate the capillary tube?

Prob is now just above shelf. May leave it there, may not. We shall see. Thanks MoonDawg.
