Cavalier Square Corner CS-96E Glass for door and gaskets

I just purchased a square corner Cavalier CS-96E coke machine. I am in need of door glass and the associated gaskets and also am looking for the springs for the door that has the glass on it. Does anyone have a source for either, or have any suggestions?

I'm very new- know nothing much about restoring the machines...so this may not be the best suggestion, but I know Lowes cuts glass and the 3/4" adhesive backed weather stripping for doors and windows is pretty cheap...might be cheaper than original...but then again might not be a good idea for that application...

I wouldn't go the Lowes route. A glass shop can cut the panes, but there are 2-3 pcs in the door with a special gasket.

Two of the panes need hole drilled at the bottom to vent moisture. That would be really hard to drill yourself.

I get my glass cut at a local shop, basic window glass, and I use a dremel with a #953 (basic grinding) bit to slowly work a small hole in the glass.  It's not pretty, but it's functional and I have been happy with the results.  Use some WD40 while drilling to cool/lubricate the glass.

Since the hole is at the bottom of the door, no one will ever see it.  I've never done it, but I think that it wouldn't be that hard to get the gaskets made either.  There's a lot of different foam materials that you can add some double sided tape to get a good seal.

Just my thoughts, I'm no expert.

Why go to all that trouble when the exact replacements are so cheap?

       When I get my glass cut, I ask the glass shop to drill the holes too.

You can also buy glass drill bits real cheap on ebay. I bought some large ones and drilled an aquarium a few years ago.

Yea, I could't figure out how to get the water out. I was making a sump tank.
