Don't settle..... Don't sell then regret... Clean her up, take a ton of
good images, email everyone.... and stick it on eBay with a price you think is fair.
These things aren't growing on trees. And everybody here I think would agree
in this hobby you got to buy and sell to build up a great collection and that takes $$$.
Best of Luck! Wish it was in Missouri and wish I had $1000 to spare... I
love that model but the 56 drained my “fun” money and I'm trying .... really trying
to quit buying for a while and save for a Pepsi 33 or my goal Pepsi 81!

The only reason I want to sell it is that it only vends 6/8 oz bottles. Also I love hunting machines. I would rather have the $1,000 to find more machines. Besides I think I might want to buy and sell untill I can get another Pepsi 88 to keep or a Cavalier C2-55. I really want a C2-55. Did I mention that I want a C2-55?

Thats a long story but the short version is that I went to pick it up and the husband sold it out from under me. I guess it is my fault for not paying for it but I didn't think I needed to. He said he might have more but he was so rude I told him I didn't want it if he gave it to me. I don't believe I have ever met a more rude person. His wife owns the company and she gave me some prices when I was there before and he more than doubled the prices and told me that his wife would have never gave me such low quotes. He then went to saying that the gumball machines are going to be really valuable some day and that he could easily sell them on ebay for over $100 each. I would understand if these were old machines but these are $.25 machines. Oh well i shouldn't be spending the money right now anyway and thats just one more thing to move. I love my topper. It is great. The only problem is I can't seem to stay out of the peanut M&M's now.

Ha! Put it in a differnet room that way at least you'll get some exercise from going back and forth.
It sounded like a NW 60 they're on eBay all the time for around 15-25 bucks.... NIce
60s machines... Guess he thought he could make a fast buck!...
You'll come across a ton more these little guys are everywhere.... When you get settled in...
Find a place that are using machines and get the vendors number... They may have a garage full of the old ones and doesn't know what to do with them.
Hope you get settled into a place that has got good “Hunt'n Grounds” for this  old stuff.

Well I just spoke to my girlfriend and she said that there might be a chance that she will get sent to Detroit after training so Memphis might be a short stay.

Josh,

Be sure to let me know if you head to Detroit.  I get up there on business at least a few times a year (sometimes more) and maybe we could hoist a few cold beverages.

That sounds great to me. I should know in a month or so where we are going. I am going to take all of my stuff to my Moms house and store it there as we are staying in a furnished house untill we find out what we are doing. I really hope we stay in Tennessee.

Come on Josh, Despite it's bad rep Detroit is a great town.  Tons to see and do.  You can spend all your spare time driving around the hood looking at ruins and still never see them all(JK).  It really is a great town.  If she does get transferred up here let me know.  I live about 3 miles from metro and can help you out.  Housing can be kinda confusing in this area.  A couple blocks one way or the other can make all the difference in the world.
