Does anyone have an ideal as to how these were wired. This one was wired so the compressor only worked. The thermostat wasn't even in the loop? Should I just use the same wiring Harness as the ideal 55?

Hey

I would think so.  That looks just like my Ideal 55. You can get the harness from Funtronics

I ordered everything for it. I just wish I had a diagram to see how to get that secondary fan in the cooling department plugged in.

The inner fan is wired to an on / off switch located on the breaker strip on the back inside wall of the cooler. That switch has 2 wires that lead to your junction box.
The fan is supposed to stop blowing when the lid is opened up.

Every Glasco I have ever owned has had a broken switch and loud or non-working fanmotor, and I usually eliminate them both '<img'>

The generic wiring harness you get from Funtronics is for a multitude of machines. I will have to put a box in the compartment just to tidy things up. The slider cools better than any i have ever had. The thermostat needs replacement so that's next. I did get a replacement motor from the local supplier so I'll replace the inner on if it's easy enough.
