Ditto, If that conversion was done saving the embossing and the bottle door flush it would be a great machine. Another one to add to the long list of fun to-do's :-)

I was considering getting rid of my 83, but I'd consider hacking into it and trying to do a conversion... that may be fun... Does anyone have any inside pics of one of these types of conversions?

I have received the photos from the seller of the Selectivend C-39 (V-39 Conversion) and will hopefully get them up this week...

I'm not sure if I have a photo of the C-83 inside but it's similar to the C-39...

I'm sorry but it would be another entry into ugliest machine of the week.  I get some critisized for going a little overboard with my restorations but this is over the top.  Count me out in the "don't you think it's cool" department.

I would have to agree with you on that, but it is still interesting that the bottlers came up with a way to convert single vend machines to multivends.

I cry everytime I see a 39 turned into a stereo cabinet, or gun rack, or sob... a psuedo-squaretop wannabe
