Beautiful Survivor 81D on eBay! "Unrestored Vintage Coke Coca-Cola Vendo 81 D Machine Excellent Original" Wowza, has anyone ever seen an 81D survivor as nice as the one up for grabs on eBay right now?!? It is absolutely pristine, what a great peice! Does anyone have any unrestored treasures they would like to post photos of? I'd love to see what is still circulating in original condition out there...? Thanks!  |

There is red overspray on the compressor, bolts, etc.
Doubt it's all original...even the inside silver finish is too nice.

I agree with Bob.
Red overspray on the bottom tells me that it is NOT original. As well, the insides are WAY too clean and silver paint looking to be original. I want to believe, but I find it too hard to.
It's still a very nice solid straight machine, and without looking at it in person, maybe just the bottom was repainted? I dunno.... either way a nice machine but I don't think it is truly an original untouched machine.

Well.... it "sold" for 3000.
Although maybe it's just me, but I am always sceptical when the opening bidder is also the winner of an auction when there are multiple bids. Could this be a case of upbidding? I dunno.... with the overspray on a machine listed as all original, maybe I'm overthinking things like the first and last bidders lol.
What's your thoughts?

I guess I should of been more specfic technically it's not all original. The coin mechanism was electric. Sorry if I mislead anyone. The rest of the machine is ALL original.... I was more representing the overall condition of the paint, lettering, bezel, etc.
