Title: Selvend model s-43
Post by: on March 07, 2003, 03:06:51 pm
I have just acquired a 7-up machine manufactured by Selvend, Kansas City, Mo. It is a model S-43. Is Selvend the same as Selectivend? I am new to this hobby and would appreciate any feedback.  Thanks! :)  :)

Are you sure the ID Tag states a model S-43...?
If this is a Selectivend, I would think the model would be a S-48...

Jim,  Thanks for the reply.  The tag absolutely says model s-43. Serial # 472.  Any further info is appreciated.  Thanks, Brian

Hello Lofgren,

I was having trouble reading the tag on a machine I bought.  By taking the tag off the machine (it had screws), I was able to read what had been originally stamped on the tag.  The back side had not been scratched, no oxidation, nothing to make it difficult to read.  And, yes, from the front I had mistaken some digits, from the back no question what it said.  Hope this helps.
