Doug - way to go... looks like a real nice job.  Did you do all the work yourself?

And of course - what machine is going to be your second restoration?

Absolutely AMAZING! You should be VERY proud.

I'd love to get an ammo belt (a.k.a. Chewbaka belt) machine some day.

Beautiful Job.

Where did you score those wheels?? Would they work on a Vendo 63?? I have original wheels on my 63 but they are metal heavy and old. I would like to upgrade to a nice pair of spinners like the one on your machine.

Great restoration work!! You did an awesome job. Did the SS trim come from a donor machine?

Thanks for all the complements here '<img'>
Eric, I did the coin mechanisim myself. I pictured and talked about my process in an earlier post under General Restorations. Was not as hard to do as I thought it might be.

1refescofan, I picked these wheels up at Menards. They are screw in type rated at 100 lbs. each. They screwed into the old leveler holes after re-tapping. They are working well but would kinda like to find some with a lower profile.

Terry, the trim was from Steve at Fun-tronics..don't tell anybody...but it's plastic.

Thanks again,,, think I'm going to Have A Coke.

Josh, thanks for your help. Your donated part is there and looks just as good as the rest....just can't see it. Back in January I posted what I did to the coin mechanism, it is listed in General Restoration, "Series 600". I was just very careful and not get crazy with paint. The gold leaf paint was perfect.

Doug,

After you have completed the registration process, you should log in and then you will see links on the left side where you can add you own album. Be sure you are in one of the four main albums or you will not see the links...

If you're still having some difficulties, please post in This Thread you have already started as this discussion is about your excellent restoration! Excellent work I might add ! ! !

Greetings all:
I'm still alive and well here. Lightening toasted my computer several weeks ago. I have now joined the ranks of "XP". Old one was 8 years old,,,so was probably past due for an upgrade anyway. Think I have things somewhat back to normalcy now. Yes...I had good back up disks  '<img'>  Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I have finally added before and after photos to the gallery. Also, got a lead on some machine(s) in a barn somewhere here local. Hope to visit for a look yet this week or next. Will keep you all informed what I find. Hummm...kinda excited and scared too,,,alittle ':p'  Thanks again for all your help.
