Here's a nice WC78 on ebay with a BIN of $229.00.  Looks very clean and seller indicates that it cools and vends.  Pop a fresh lens in the sign and you're good to go!!

If it were closer I would have hit the button on this one.

I don't know why, but lately I have been getting irked by seeing someone throw an old wooden crate of bottles on top of a nice soda machine. Cruel!  (I'll bet this guy kicks his dog too)   ':p'

Joey, was it you that pulled the trigger on that one?  Hope it was someone here. '<img'>

The Multidrinks are my favorite style machine.  I actually like the proportions of the WC78 better than the smaller WC60.  The 78's marquee is just the right size, where the 60's looks a little skinny.  I've owned three sizes; the 60, 78, and 102.  The 126(?) is a real skyscraper, never owned one of those.

Yeah, that was a pretty good pick up, especially if you are local. I tried to get a 102 that was (is) only about 8 miles from me and was on eBay, but the seller's reserve was too high for the machine (never met reserve). Do like those select-o-matics.

I too would have loved it, but I am nowhere near it location wise.
I wish all soda machines on eBay were priced like that. ':p'

Yeah, that would be great......Then my garage, living room, and every room would be completely filled with soda machines! Not that it would be a bad thing........  '<img'> And as for the Kool Aid, me thinks a Jim Jones type would be a bad thing....just kinda!

Look at the height of that thing... '<img'>  You need FAA approval to load it.  Looks nice and clean.

Pretty cool that it has the humongous lightup sign - usually the skyscrapers that I've seen have the metal type.

Little known fact:  This sign takes 83 fluorescent tubes and it is not wise to look directly at it without wearing a welding mask.  ':O'

Bob, it also requires a direct tie into the local power grid in order to supply the starter array!  Call your electric company now.

That is the one close to me that I bid on last time it was listed. Didn't know it had been relisted. Thanks for linking to it. I'll check it out again.

That one is racking up the bids pretty well!  $510.00 and 14 bids at last look.

I wonder why so much interest in that particular machine?  Nice Multi's come and go on ebay with barely a whimper, but this one has peaked some interest '<img'>

Last time it was listed I was high bidder at around $325, but didn't meet reserve. Don't know what the difference would be this time.

Someone needs to buy this machine just so that it can have some real beverages in it.  Can you imagine the damage V8 and slimfast can do to a machines psyche. ':p'

I'm surprised that you vintage Coke fans took exception to V8 and Slimfast but we're ok with C2? Isn't that a faux-pas with you purists?

I wouldn't call myself a purist.

But you have a point. The selections that I can read are as follows V8, Slimfast, C2, it looks like Crystal Light in one and two that I can't read.  That is just WRONG.  Whats an unhealthy fat boy like me suppose to do for a drink at his house.

I tried slimfast once and had to reach for the nearest cat and lick its  '<img'> just to get the taste out of my mouth.

Hopefully the next owner will have selections worthy for the machine.

Cheers, '<img'>  ':drinkers:'
