I am going to look at a vendo 39.   According to the seller... a nice older guy..  Cord was replaced.  Not a repaint and looks good, plugs in and works.  Works as in properly cools, accepts coin, and rotates/dispenses.

Without photos...and presuming it looks good from 15 feet away... what might it be worth low value and high value.

Thanks for your thoughts..and advise.

Bill,
Could you tell what version it is?
Early - two cabinet louvers, embossed Ice Cold w/ rib and correct coin door.
Later - multi louvers, smooth lower cabinet door or with embossed Vendo
Condition, condition & condition...
Low end complete & working properly, $500
High price could be around $1000 or more depending on condition...
Good Luck ! ! !

UPDATE:

Here is a photo of the actual machine.  FULLY FUNCTIONS!  Cools, dispenses, change system works and all.

Now, what do you think the top dollar is for this.. if it is as he says!

Thanks folks.. I really appreciate the input.

It is a nice original but I would still say $1,000 tops. If you are looking for just a nice machine to display for yourself then even $1,200 would be fine. I'm afraid seller is going to say $2,000-$2,500 in which I would walk away.

Bill, that is a very nice original.  happydrinkers
The price limit these guys are advising you on is because a very large number of these early 39's were produced.
Survival rate is just as high, meaning more sellers have a similar item and that's what holds down value.  darn

Adding in that it is an iconic model, it also is one size/one flavor vendor...
