I was called over to look at a neighbors V-44. She told me here 10 year old grand kids had worked the machine over. I'm more of an Ideal Westinghouse , Cav guy so this one is foriegn to me. The Coin mech is by passed. the door lever had the roll pin snapped so it wouldn't lock, got that replaced and working. Got the trip lever aligned but the bottle mech seems to be jammed. Any suggestions?  Do I need to take the stack out? I tryed to gently rock the gears but nothing...   any suggestions??

You will be surprised by the fact that you could have that bottle stack out in less time than it took you to type this post. With it on the bench you will understand the
workings much better.

PM me your email address and I'll email you a PDF manual for the 44.
Like MD said - 3 bolts and the stack is out
