Hi,

Just wanted to share the way I lite up my Stoner Senior (daily driver..not a show piece). I did it because  I like stoner and coin ops that light up, also I doubt that I would ever get "Theater model"

Since space in these is limited and I was concerned with  heat, I went with LED's as a light source. What I decided to use was  Side View Flexible LED Light Strip 18 LEDs per ft. at the cost of $8.35 per ft it cost $16.70 + $9.00 shipping for a total of $25.70. A small transformer 9~12 vdc) is need but I have some many laying round, I didn't need to by one. I know it's not a theater but it does lite up and looks cool.   Also, no harm was done  o the machine.

Looks great to me, and can't complain about the heat coming off the LED's; nice work!

Ray,

That machine turned out great.  I like the way you did the lights and that would have been what I would have recommended!

Can you post some pics of the machine in better light--would love to see the finished product.

 Tim,

I will add pictures,  but it looks better in low light  biggrin, I wound up spraying it with cans of light blue metallic  Hammerite, but a trick I got from a paint guy helped out, he had me sand it all down with 600 grid sand paper  to give it a nice even look and then spray it with multiply layers of auto clear coat. I just clear up the  inside and got the coin mech to work on a 10 or 15 cents. Jim and others have all been very helpful!

PS thanks for selling it to me !

Here's some more pic's... hopefull  please be kind, I know it not up to Jim's or Curtis standards,(expert level) but not bad for a "Daily Driver" at (novice level)  biggrin
The last pic is the before shot taken by Tim
also kept the mirror original, I think it adds to the used not restored machine look I was going for.
