I'm restoring a Vendo 144 and the doorliner is in bad shape.  The plastic on the outer rim of the liner (where the screws are located) is snapping off due to age and nearly every screw being overtorqued.  I'm having no luck finding a replacement liner.  Is there a way to repair the outer edge?  I was thinking of using plastic strips of some kind and glue them to the door liner and drill new holes; but I'm just shooting in the dark.  Any suggestions (or even a doorliner for a 144...sigh) would be helpful.
Thanks
