We only had a Top Boy in our town. I believe it was called Big Boy but they had to change the name.

I worked at a Big Boy through High School and college, and no, our store didn't have a statue.
The old style comes up  now and then  for about 1000-1500.
I don't think anyone is repopping them,  more like  Cheese is grabbing them from closed or closing restaurants.

God I soooooo miss Frisch's Big Boy. They used to have a lonely one store in Orlando but it closed long before we moved here. Its a duncan Doughnuts now Sad  Yes there are many names for Bog Boy in Ohio they are all Frisch's but I think in Michigan they are Big Bobs Big Boy or something like that. I would give anything for a Big Boy right now and they have the best cottage cheese on the planet. It makes me want to drive home to Ohio now. I just drove to Atlanta and back so thats half way. I should have Kept going Smiley

In Michigan, it is or at least it used to be Elias Brothers Big Boy (and you did not want to cross the Elias Brothers if you know what I mean or you might end up in the gravy!).  I just had lunch there the other day with my boys and a good friend.

The place has not changed a bit!

That looks like the Big Boy that is featured in the pic on their webpage.
