if it's Embossed...maybe, seems a bit on the high end, but Barq's it is a very desirable brand, as most transitionals were not embossed, my option is $300-500 unembossed, $400-700 embossed.  looks like an original machine, wonder if you could get some inside pictures too!
( completeness counts!)

It appears to be a VMC-81 , and looks like a can-opener bolted onto the coindoors upper right corner  :Oo:, but I cant see any rack thru the bottledoor at this angle...

Looking at the photo closer it looks like it's missing the bottle stack and  the shelves, and has replaced them with wire shelves. I'll see if I can get photo's of the inside . Without the bottle stack and shelves how much ? And are these  very collectable? Thanks for the input. :drinking:

The Transitional series of machines I feel are very collectable, they have a lot going for them, as they weren't in production all that long (2-3 years) making for a low overall production run & they have the (I think) added visual appeal due to the external coindoors, plus being shelve type vending machines, they offer varaity to the owner who wants more than one flavor to drink & offer there guests.

Transitionals also come with mechanical / push crank coinmechs as well as the electric coinmech type shown here.

I'd price the mechanical coinmech higher than the electric versions, and of course the embossed over the silkscreened (generic) models

Finding a bottle stack and shelves for a squaretop machine is usually an easy
task, but not for this machine. These parts are missing because they were installed
in a Vendo or Vendolator 81. These are high demand and you will pay quite a lot for
replacements.

I also cant see the side of the machine clearly. but it seems to have a Pepsi machine chasis With a Barqs front-door ???   I'd have to see more detailed pictures first inside & out & all four sides before I'd bid personally

Yea I'm going to bail on it. I asked the guy the same question about it being a Pepsi machine I think it has the old Pepsi saying Be Sociable on the sides and the front door has been painted and changed to Barq's. I think I asked to many questions and pointed out to many flaws and parts missing the guy won't return emails. :glare:
