Does anyone know anything about the value of a restored Seeburg M100A?  I know they play only 78s. But I found one  in  good original shape, needs some tlc.  Thanks for any input on this.

Most don't like the 100A because of the 78's when they can get the B/C that play 45's. I would say a fully restored that was done right 2000-2200 would be a good price. Many that like the look of the A also go for the G or the W. I like the J/JL/R because of the larger viewing front glass.

Check to see if it was converted over to 45's. The A was the last model 78 Seeburg introduced, and  many were converted.  The coonversions can be problematic, though once you get it all working it will go on forever.  The Mech was also built in iron, so you you need a strong back to move the  sucker around.

I passed on a clean intact M100A plled form a VFW hall. First he was asking 900,, then 600 then please take it form the garage.

The Seeburg A's are like the V83 of jukeboxes. Takes a special kind of love, lots of room, and generally shunned.

Not very sought after due to the aforementioned reasons.  I walk away from them even in the $500 range.  Not that attractive and not to practical.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm going to pass on the machine. The guy wants $900.00 for it. I'll hold out for one that plays 45s.
I would like one from the '50's or early 60's. Gonna keep working on the Stoner 120 for now.
