Title: Coin mech. noise

i have a pepsi machine that has VF165-5 model on it. the coin mech. makes a buzzing noise. it comes from the part that is on the upper right of the unit. any answers? do i need a new unit? it works just annoying cuz the noise. thanks jeff

The buzzing is coming from the coin reject electro-magnets or
"C.R.E.M's" for short, it's buzzing because the little metal plate with the fingers on it isnt seated just right on the coil
you can try to wiggle it side to side (it may be hot to the touch so wear a glove) & see if you can seat it properly to reduce the buzzing, and as MoonDawg suggests for home use, you can always remove the top part with the fingers.

thanks johnieG, ill try that this is newto me. got the machine for free. cool and works nice. just a noise problem.
