Just a random thought this morning...has anyone built a punch to make Vendo 80/144 (others?) doors into manual vend 56/81/110 large doors?  I thought I remember someone mentioning it on this forum at some point, but it seems like it might be worth the tooling cost.

The 80 door is not as deep as the 56/81/110.

Welp, that explains that...I've never seen an 80 in person, so I didn't realized it wasn't as deep

Didn't the 80 also have a recessed portion in the middle of the main door where all coin mech is?  Seems to me I recall something like that.

Yes. That is why it is not the same depth.

Here is a coindoor with same depth as a v56/110/81 That would need a punch tool to make the crankhandle hole.

However, the coin return cup is too far to the left for a mechanical mech.

$500 for a transitional VMC 81? I'd be all over it if it weren't cross country

oops! i had never see that before oops But if i really need a coindoor one day i would try to find one of these and then reweld the coinreturn in another position.

Yes me to. Anyhow it's a 56 if it makes any sense.
