I would like to get there but I don't think it is in the cards.  If it happens it will be a last minute decision for me.  Maybe the fall!

I would love to make it seeing as how I missed last fall due to lack of funds and a 7 month old baby boy at home (kind of go hand in hand!). As far as this time...We are leaving on a 7-day Mexican Riviera Cruise next Sunday so that will blow fund-age right out the window.

I was then planning on making it to the Fall '09 show......But, found out three weeks ago that we will have a new addition to the family arriving around that time!! I guess the trade off is worth it!! biggrin

Congrads on the new addition Brian. Whats up with all the new baby's. All of the posts are about new additions to the family, not new additions to the collections. I think instead of being out in the garage tinkering with the soda machines, everyones been tinkering with something else.  biggrin

Rod,

Thanks!! Yeah, I kind of agree. The timing on my last two kids has been "uncanny". Maybe my wife is trying to sabotage my hobby.......Yeah! That's it!! No Chicago for you!

Actually she has always been more than understanding and actually got mad at me once for not taking her along to go get a machine! She also pretty much gave me full reign over how to finish the basement and even let me have a space for the gameroom that I've always wanted.

Very funny John laugh  The wife already staked claim to that money, if it sells.  I'll probably be the only guy there with a peanut butter sandwich from home.

I actually ate at Portillos yesterday.  I was trying to find a Lou Malnati's around St. Charles, but there is no dine in Lou's near there, only pick up.  Lou's is an awesome thick crust pizza place.  Actually,  while I was writing this the wife called me and asked if I want to go out for lunch with her and the kids today (they're off school).  Lou's it is. biggrin

It's funny, but when you live there, you hardly go to any of them, except for the Pizza parlors.  Actually, the Chicago Yellow Pages list "Pizza" by itself.  It is not under restaurants.
